Kiln Diary #23
‘Let’s raise a cup of kindness’
To mark the beginning of a new year in the studio I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to everyone for your support. I appreciate all the personal messages I receive from around the world connecting with other people who love ceramics. It has been a pleasure to meet many of you in person at Trinity House or through gallery exhibitions or our online collections.
At this time, I reflect on the work that I have made throughout the year. Some pieces will provide starting points for new journeys, changes in form and surface that will evolve and grow. I also think about the pieces that have gone from the studio and their travels to other places and homes.
There are lots of plans and ideas for the incoming year with events and exhibitions in our Penzance gallery space. Developing relationships has been a particular highlight and we were excited to host our first special occasion with a small gathering in December for a Tea Tasting experience partnering with Michelle from Comins Teahouse. Please keep in touch with all our future news through the kiln diary.
Warm wishes to one and all for a happy, peaceful and creative New Year.
