WINTER COLLECTION 2023
The Winter Collection is going live on Saturday 25th November at 7pm UK time.
The work for my Winter collection is now complete. I select each individual piece for the online exhibition for its distinctive characteristics. Each one is unique. Some lift my spirits, some are intriguing, some have questions to be solved and some just simply make me smile. I hope that they will connect with you in a special way.
One of the key pieces is a large, elliptical Guardian Vessel I call ‘Last Snow’. I don’t always title my work but sometimes there are pieces that have a strong sense of narrative and connection with landscape. ‘Last Snow’ was one of the pots I made in January at the beginning of this year. A bleak time in the studio was brightened by the flashes of intense colour and the simplicity of form.
