With the arrival of Spring marking a time of new beginnings, we are also starting a new and exciting venture. Trinity House is a grade II listed heritage building located in the heart of the maritime landscape of Penzance harbour. Looking out over the busy south pier, the workspace at Trinity House is more than just a dedicated porcelain studio and showroom. It is a destination.

I have now finished making all the work for my Spring online collection. I am currently in the process of slipping and drying the pieces in the studio and preparing for firing the soda kiln over the next two weeks. I have made a range of work from the finest conical vessels to the carved sculptural forms of the Guardian vessels and Pods. Thank you for your patience and we will send another notification very soon when the online gallery will be opening.

With the arrival of Spring marking a time of new beginnings, we are also starting a new venture. We are opening a porcelain studio and showroom at a unique venue in Penzance.  It will be a place for me to work and make exhibition pieces, as well as a gallery area to showcase my individual soda fired vessels and a selection of my functional tableware range.

The Trinity House studio is in a grade II listed heritage building located in the heart of the maritime landscape of Penzance harbour. Looking out over the busy south pier, the workspace at Trinity House is more than just a dedicated porcelain studio and showroom. It is a destination. It will be a hub for Doherty Porcelain to make and show work, as well as a place to receive visitors.

If you would like to visit us, we will be opening by appointment from the beginning of May. We are currently preparing the space and look forward to welcoming you soon. Please do contact me in advance either by email or phone to arrange a time to drop by the new studio.

I believe in living with and using beautiful, functional objects every day. The experience of spending so much time at home over the past year has restored the importance to me of the objects we surround ourselves with on a daily basis.

My range of domestic tableware reflects these qualities in the simplicity of form and boldness of design. With my signature soda-fired surfaces, this collection of stoneware pieces is produced in small batches to be enjoyed and used every day. If you would like to know about the launch of my tableware online please do sign up on the home page of my website. We hope to make this available very soon.
